The Dog House is a new massively volatile 5-reel slots game developed by Pragmatic Play that looks like it could become quite the hit.
Set in white-picket-fence suburban yard, the game features a giant kennel and a team of doggy companions that will bark their way to bringing you the winning hits. While wins are few and far between, the different wilds and scatters ensure that when you do get those elusive symbols lined up your wins are generally quite big.
The Dog House has an attractive but not amazing 96.51% RTP and a simple but lucrative bonus game which is what makes it quite catchy for the dedicated online slots player.
Gameplay
The slots game itself is pretty basic: 5 reels, 12 symbols, 20 geometric paylines (which can be seen on the information screen of the game).
Playing is simple: choose to play in credits or currency, select your coins per line (minimum 1, maximum 10) and your coin value (0.01 to 0.5) and hit the spin button.
The playful doggo symbols animate of you win which is cute and you the usual 10, J, Q, K and A symbols with seven dog-themed symbols: a bone, a collar and four illustrated dog breeds.
There is also a kennel symbol that appears on reels 2,3 and 4 which serves as both a wild and a 2x or 3x multiplier.
The bonus symbol is a glammed-up paw print that appears on reels 1, 3 and 5. Hit three bonus symbols and you trigger a bonus game that gives you the chance to win big – 5x your stake plus a Free Spins feature.
The bonus game takes you to a shed with various doors. Match the number on the doors (which happens automatically) to reveal how many free spins you get. The free spins come with the kennel multipliers but this time they are sticky and stay on screen each time they are hit to really add up your winnings.
The soundtrack is unique and very upbeat but can become a bit much after a while.
